The ANDREW TROTTER ORCHESTRA

..  aka Caroline Drive performed as my EarthTrivia house band last night at Rollins College and might I say...ROCKED!  After my college show we all went to Tom and Jerry's to see Andrew's band perform again.  What a great night of music it was.

Hello all,
In case you haven't heard yet, there will be no more 'morning' GameShowRadio program on WAMT 1190am. Steadman and I began our 'experiment' on 1190am earlier this year, Feb. 18th.

I always thought that the most exciting portion of many 'talk' radio shows was the trivia segment, what can I say, that's a trivia guy talking. I thought, why not make the whole show
a trivia segment. I enlisted the help of radio veteran and newly hired Earth Trivia office manager, Justin Steadman. Although I had been on the radio before, and enjoy a weekly stint on the Shannon Burke show, I was still really 'green around the gills' and relied on Steadman to anchor the show and attempt to make me sound professional. It seems really easy when you hear broadcasters on the radio and you say to yourself, "oh, what an easy job, I could do that, that guy just got lucky', that is a misconception to say the least. I learned a lot as I went along and felt that in the last 2 months, that I was finally feeling my stride. The problem, was that I was also running Earth Trivia Entertainment, which has me writing, negotiating, marketing and performing until midnight or later, Mon- Friday. I couldn't keep up the 80 hour work weeks any longer. I was becoming half assed and ineffective at everything. I had to make a decision.

Andrew Trotter, Steadman and myself are not going away, in fact we will be talking to a few radio and local TV stations about the future of the show's new home. A morning show will not be an option. Overnights or in the case of TV, a taped show would work much better. As with everything I do, I feel that I am on some sort of path, a good one, and I know when I've wandered off of that path, and when I am progressing as I should. This radio or TV thing, try as I might, may not work out, may not be part of the path, and that's ok if that's the reality. Either way, good things are coming.

The reason I started writing this email was simply to thank all of you who joined us in our GameShowRadio endeavor on WAMT.
Your calls and participation meant a lot to us (Ross of Somacow. net, Bill of Global Training and Hosting, Jesse Brooks of Superb Roofing). I also wanted to thank our sponsors along the way, for investing in us and allowing us to promote their fine services and goods. Especially the first handful of sponsors who signed on and wrote us checks, before we were even on the air. Namely Cruise One (Jen Muellenbach), First Class Automotive (Nabil M.), Bagel King, The Olde Cup and Saucer and Bills Trivia (Bill), and Studio 66 Interiors ( Desmond O.). Also the businesses that kept us afloat till the last day, many of them brought aboard by Rick Peterson (thanks Rick). Thanks to Pretzels(Monica), Harmony Golf Preserve (Brock and Bill), Turning Pointe Dance Studio and A Space That Works (Suzanna).

Lastly I want to thank Justin Steadman and Andrew Trotter who performed each morning and brought so much to the table. No money was ever made, just reinvested into the show, week after week. I thank them for their sacrifice and belief in me and our show. I have benefitted greatly from knowing them and continue to do so. They have become great friends and I hope to work with them always. We have plans to rehearse a 'live' version of our show for theaters. It's an ambitious notion but it might work. We may be doing a dry run of it for a charitable event involving the Back To Nature wildlife refuge.

Stay tuned as they say, I will keep you informed. Once again, thank you all for your help and participation.

Until we meet again,
Curtis Earth
